Cochino Lodge Weddings: Married in the Oldest County in Texas at COCHINO LODGE

It was a fairy tale wedding from beginning to end. A wonderland of Romance reflecting the love the couple have for each other, their families and friends. No one was left out, if not attending in person the memory of those special ones were in the midst of the crowd in spirit. A darling new family confirmed by the wedding vows and ceremony to be one.

The weekend's ambiance was set by Connie Wells, Absolutely Fabulous, who took the bride's desires and set them into motion with a force that would not stop. Beauty swirled in every corner throughout the Lodge's many areas of entertainment. White lights were everywhere creating soft lighting throughout. There were pops of color that added an element of entertainment and surprise. Long narrow streamers of fabric hung from the entry trees to the Lodge, blowing in the breeze, and could be seen as the guests arrived. The couple married on the veranda, as was it was called in days of old, the porch was decorated with greenery and wisteria and hung from the arch as well. The guests were seated below on church benches underneath the trees facing the porch. The wedding was directed by Connie Wells nothing was left undone. All went so smoothly.

Once the wedding was completed, it was time for refreshments and music. Connie and Joe Wells are a great team when it comes to making an event 'one to remember'. The food was delicious that the Wells prepared. No one left hungry, that is for sure. Seconds were had and the watermelon disappeared. Daniel?????????? where did it go????

The Beautiful Cakes were by Helen Bohnet. She is truly an artist. The Bride's cake was HUGE. Please see the enclosed photographs, you will love it. check out Helen Bohnet on Facebook and get an idea of all that she can do. She delivers as well.

The Wedding DJ, Dalton Gauthier, provided the sound for the ceremony and wedding and music for the reception, dinner and dance as well as Karaoke. There was some 'more' dancing by young and older alike. The Wedding Dj is great at announcing and moving the reception and dancing in the right direction.

I hope to see the families and friends and of course the bride and groom in times to come. It seems as if I have known them all before. A great familiar feel to this big family. May we meet again soon at Cochino Lodge for more celebrations and good times. Next time, maybe we can all can fish more and have longer days of celebration.
