Brewer and Chance exchange Vows at Cochino Lodge

May 16, 2015
Rainy Day Friday with a little clearing on Saturday
Rachel and Justin were made for each other, they even resembled each other. Dark hair and eyes, perfect complexion and quiet nature.  The families gathered on Friday with rocks and flowers ready to begin creating the ambiance that spoke softly of the couple.  Wild flowers, so unique an idea, were gathered by the couple. You might say that the  'Highway  Flora' was a great source of inspiration and was just perfect.  Hillside rock-lets (little tiny rocks) filled the containers, then water followed by great bunches of flowers.  Coasters made of small circles of tree trunks adorned the tables as well as serving as favors. These were made by the Couple as well.  Many guests gathered on Saturday for the wedding that was held indoors. There were 4 generations on the Brides Father's side of the family. The Bride and Groom's cakes were a visual feast. A Family Friend from Bryan Texas made a huge Texas Cake which was situated on a vintage Texas Map; The Brides Cake was of a deep coral hue that began to change intensity before your eyes with a very  light white  on top. Both delicious as well. Food was catered by Tome' of Lufkin, Texas.  A delightful group that had everything on time and tasting very good.  Fun group that had it all covered. Music was by 'the Wedding DJ-Dalton Gauthier' who began at rehearsal the day before and continued again the day of the wedding throughout each segment of the day's events.  The Groom had a surprise song that he had written and recorded especially for the Bride for their first dance. She was very surprised.
I enjoyed the wedding, the guests, and getting to know the Bride and Groom.
Happy Trails to you both.
